At present there are several indicators of child poverty at a national level, that are often not collected or collated at local level. The Welsh Assembly Government report “measuring success” provides a framework for the types of indicators you may wish to use to monitor local child poverty. The index of multiple deprivation also provides some useful information about poverty within your area.
