This phase builds on Step 4 'Involving Stakeholders' by consulting on the draft actions within the plan and securing support for the objectives.
All local authorities will have their own approach to consultation based on local demographics, however a useful consultation strategy/toolkit for consulting with a wide and diverse audience may be of use.
It will be important to target the consultation to key stakeholders, including children and young people.
Information arising from consultation on the children and young people’s plans may provide a useful baseline.
