Child Poverty Proofing or the Child Poverty Impact Assessment has been developed from the Irish Office for Social Inclusion's “Poverty Impact Assessment” guidelines, as a part of the work of Child Poverty Solutions project. At a national level there is a need for an integration of impact assessments, the Child Poverty Impact Assessment was developed to assist organisations to ensure that child poverty is considered in policy development and service delivery.
