Impact Assessment
We will be doing a lot more work on child poverty Impact Assessment (also known as policy proofing) soon. In the mean time we have prepared this guidance for you based on an Irish model.
This child poverty proofing tool or the child poverty Impact Assessment has been developed from the Irish Office for Social Inclusion's “Poverty Impact Assessment” guidelines, as a part of the work of Child Poverty Solutions. It has been developed to assist organisations to ensure that child poverty is considered in policy development and service delivery.
At a national level there is a need for an integration of child poverty impact assessments.
