Examples and case studies of work with children and young people

If you want to start working to involve children and young people in your community or already do so, but want some new ideas, this is the section for you! It gives examples of involving children and young people in community regeneration from across Wales. The case studies will give you ideas about what you could do in your community and encourage you that these types of projects are possible and have succeeded in other areas. Case studies show how different communities have managed to overcome problems. It can be very reassuring and encouraging to see that other communities have faced similar problems and overcome them.

Save the Children's Here to HELP project has been working in Gilfach Goch for two years, running a project to encourage and enable children and young people's participation in community regeneration. Click here for a brief description of the project.

The Here to HELP project in Gilfach Goch has worked with children and young people of all different ages, encouraging their involvement in Communities First and community regeneration work. If you want to find out more about the work we have done with children and young people, how we did it, the problems we came up against and how we got round them, click here.
