Communities First

Communities First is the Welsh Assembly Government's programme to improve the living conditions and prospects for people in the most disadvantaged communities across Wales.

Under the revised Communities First Vision Framework, Child Poverty is a new priority. There is much that Communities First can do to help address child poverty including income maximisation, improving skills, supporting children’s education e.c.t.  

This section contains the “Make it happen toolkit” that aims to help Communities First Partnerships to address participation poverty.
